Off To A Good Start

It's time to review some of the things I accomplished in 2008, and what I hope to do in 2009. I'm a little late in posting this... better late than never, right?

Last year was a success. I ran (and finished) my first half marathon. I also ran over 600 miles (my initial goal was 500 miles) in 2008. With this in mind, I am going to set some new fitness goals for 2009. This year I will:

1. Run and complete a marathon (26.2 miles)
2. Run over 1000 miles in 2009
3. Lose 10 pounds

I've already started working on my goals for 2009. My brother and I will run in the Eisenhower Marathon in Abilene, Kansas (could be the flattest marathon course in the world) on April 11th. Come and run with us... or cheer us on.

What are your fitness goals for 2009?

My fitness goals:
1.) to buy a milkshake and not drink the whole thing

2.) tone up my abs for Jamaica

3.) actually get some exercising done

4.) continue to envy your love for running, as it is one of my loaths
